1. Just Start Prompting!:
- Prompting is easy - just say what you want. (At least to start)
- Generating Thin Prompts: prompts that reflect the "blink of an eye" assessment of what's needed.
- Assess your problem-solving mindset and learn how to create and evaluate simple prompts.
2. Response Assessment
- You can't improve a prompt without assessing a response.
- 'Response Engineering' is 10X more important than Prompt Engineering.
3. SEP, MUR and Satisficing:
- Understand the goal of 'Minimum Useful Response' (MUR) - the minimal response that will meet the needs of your downstream application or process.
- Why you need to focus on the 'Simplest Effective Prompt' (SEP) to achieve our MUR.
- Use 'Satisficing' as a strategy for solutioning with ChatGPT.
4. Prompt Evolutionary Development
- Explore the importance of evolutionary prompt improvement.
- Why is Response Quality the definition of progress, not Prompt complexity?
- Understand and apply the 3 evolutionary cycles of Organic Prompting.
- How to define a "Stopping Function" that gets you off the prompt improvement treadmill.
5. Prompts are Programming with Natural Language:
- Prompts need to access the built-in model of behavioural intention which is developed from natural language expression.
